Debit Card Updates

Tap to Pay is coming to The First National Bank of Jeanerette! Your new contactless debit card is coming soon!  All active debit cards will be reissued at the end of January.  You will activate and begin using your new debit card on February 9, 2026.  A few things to note about the new debit cards:

 

• All new debit cards will be mailed out starting on January 12, 2026, so please be on the lookout for your new debit cards coming in the mail in the next few weeks.
  
  
• After February 8, 2026, your old debit card will no longer work.
  
  
• Your debit card number is changing.  If you have any recurring debit card transactions set up, or if you have your card saved in any of your phone apps or linked to any other places, the card numbers will need to be updated.
  
  
• When you receive your new debit card, there will be an insert with instructions on when to stop using your current card and when to start using your new card.
  
  
• To activate your new card, simply call the number that is listed with your new debit card.  When you call to activate your new card, you will then be able to set up your PIN number.  This can be the same PIN that you are using on your current debit card.  You CANNOT activate your new card until the morning of February 9, 2026.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.  Changing the debit card numbers was necessary to switch over to the contactless cards.
